8th Grade Washington D.C. Trip

 

8th Grade Families,

The 8th Grade trip to Washington, D.C. is quickly approaching! Please read this letter in full as it contains information essential to our trip.

Pre-Trip Meeting: There will be a pre-trip informational Zoom meeting for families on Wednesday, May 17, at 6:00 PM . We would like to ask for at least one representative from each student’s family to attend the meeting. Required Medical Forms: Please submit the following forms to Crew teachers no later than Friday, May 12.

1. Georgetown U Hospital Consent for Treatment form - Completed & Signed

2. Georgetown U Hospital Medical Questionnaire form - Completed & Signed

3. Health Insurance Card (please ATTACH a copy of the front and back)

What to Pack: Please pack all items in a single suitcase. Casual and comfortable attire is acceptable throughout the program week; for Capitol Hill day (Thursday), students are encouraged to wear more business casual attire for our visit to the Capitol. Dressing in layers is recommended, but please check weather forecasts prior to travel. Please leave valuables at home! - Comfortable shoes! - Pen/pencil - Spending money (or debit/credit card) - Umbrella or rain jacket - Phone/camera and charger(s) - Refillable water bottle - Sunglasses

Return to MRMS: We will be returning to Miles River on Friday, May 26 with an estimated arrival of 9:30 PM.
