The mission of the Science and Engineering Technology department is to instill in our students a curiosity in our natural and physical world and to understand connections between the two. The department courses will allow students to evaluate, process, and acquire essential knowledge in order to become responsible, globally aware individuals and to provide a lifelong positive impact on humanity as citizens and as consumers.

All middle school science classes use the program STEMscopes which creates a subject by subject curriculum for the students. It provided videos, worksheets, interactive activities, and assessments allowing students to learn in different ways. The eighth graders also participate in the science fair, where they pick a project in the beginning of the year and conduct their own research. They are able to present their work at the end of the year.
