Our high school students competed at the National History Day State Competition, where they researched a variety of historical events and presented their information to judges. Thank you to all teams that participated. This is an incredible accomplishment.

A special congratulations to Ian Swanson, Reece Fabrizio, Molly Mosher, Gabriella Jewitt, Jane Starr, and Rowan Sheckells for qualifying for the national competition in D.C. from June 8-12! This past weekend, some of our HWRHS Model UN club members participated in a Model UN conference in Boston! Congrats to Jonah Nordin on Outstanding Delegate.

Model United Nations, also known as Model UN or MUN, is an extracurricular activity in which students typically role-play delegates to the United Nations and simulate UN committees. This activity takes place at MUN conferences, which is usually organized by a high school or college MUN club. At the end of most conferences, outstanding delegates in each committee are recognized and given awards for their debate, cooperation, and decorum.

Come to Miles River Middle School Arts Night: Tuesday, April 8th at 6:30 p.m.

This special evening will feature a Jazz Band performance, a Choral presentation, and a selection from the One-Act Play performed by our student actors. In addition, the school hallways will be transformed into a gallery displaying a wide range of student artwork, highlighting the creativity of our young artists.
